What does quantum entanglement have to do with love?
According to conventional science, little or nothing, really. First of all, what is love? An attempt to create quantum entanglement between two or more macroscopic sentient beings. Albert Einstein thought that understanding the phenomenon could help us manipulate it.
Quantum Mechanics
Modern Physics Explains phenomena that escape our perceptual ability: they occur at microscopic levels, at speeds close to the speed of light or in cosmological planes. It arose through two theories that sought to overcome some classical inconsistencies and explain novel experimental results that were impossible to decipher at the time: Einstein's Theory of Relativity and the Theory of Quantum Mechanics of Werner Heisenberg, Louis-Victor Pierre Raymond de Broglie, Erwing Scrhrödinger et alii.
Among the modern branches of physics we find:
- Cosmology: Study of the structures and dynamics of the universe on a larger scale. It investigates its origin, structure, evolution and final destiny.
- Quantum Mechanics: Studies the behavior of matter and light, at the atomic and subatomic scale.
- Special Relativity: Applies to elementary particles and their interactions describing all physical phenomena except gravity.
- General Relativity: Explains the law of gravitation and its relation to other forces of nature.
According to quantum mechanics, particles are in a superposition of states (in several states at the same time), their state is given by a wave function with non-zero value in both states at the same time.
Scrhrödinger's Cat Hypothetical Experiment
It is a thought experiment, described as a paradox, devised by the Austrian-Irish physicist Erwin Schrödinger in 1935, during discussions with Albert Einstein. It illustrates what he saw as the problem of the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics. The scenario presents a hypothetical cat that can be simultaneously alive and dead, a state known as quantum superposition, as a result of being bound to a random subatomic event that may or may not occur.
Schrödinger coined the term Verschränkung (Quantum Entanglement) during the development of the thought experiment.
He highlighted the counterintuitive nature of quantum superpositions, in which a quantum system such as an atom or photon can exist as a combination of multiple states corresponding to different possible outcomes.
How Do We Choose Our Reality?
The prevailing theory, called the Copenhagen interpretation, says that a quantum system remains in superposition until it interacts with or is observed by the external world. When this happens, the superposition collapses into one or another of the defined possible states.
Experiment shows that a system with multiple particles separated by large distances can be in such a superposition. Einstein pointed out that the state of an unstable powder keg, after a time, will contain a superposition of exploded and unexploded states.
Schrödinger Proposed a scenario with a cat in a closed steel chamber, in which the cat's life or death depended on the state of a radioactive atom, whether it had decayed and emitted radiation or not. According to Schrödinger, the Copenhagen interpretation implies that the cat remains alive and dead until the state is observed.
Physicists have proposed other interpretations of quantum mechanics, some of which consider the superposition of the "dead and alive" cat to be quite real.
Suppose one of those states is color, that a particle's state is both blue and red; as the particle is measured or observed, the wave function collapses into a particular state (red or blue).
When two particles intertwine, if the first one is blue, invariably the second one will be red, immediately (in zero time) and even if they are separated by a distance of light years. So is the connection between Beloved Beings, like the Mother Son connection, no matter the distance, it exists and is permanent.
Real Tests and Experiments
Successful experiments have been conducted involving similar principles, for example, superimpositions of relatively large objects almost to absolute zero.
- A "cat state" has been achieved with photons.
- A beryllium ion has been trapped in a superposed state.
- An experiment involving a superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) has been related to the subject of the thought experiment: "The superposition state does not correspond to a billion electrons flowing in one direction and a billion others flowing in the other direction.
- Superconducting electrons move en masse. All superconducting electrons in the SQUID flow in both directions around the loop at the same time when they are in the Schrödinger's cat state.
- A piezoelectric tuning fork has been constructed, which can be placed in a superposition of vibrating and non-vibrating states. The resonator comprises approximately 10 billion atoms.
- An experiment with an influenza virus has been proposed.
- An experiment with a bacterium and an electromechanical oscillator has been proposed.
Many claim that it is exactly the same as what happens in human relationships when a couple experiences love, uniting them forever even if they are 'light years' away from knowing each other. To understand it better, this equation brought together two of the most important ideas in science: quantum mechanics, which describes the behavior of tiny objects; and Einstein's theory of special relativity, which describes the behavior of fast-moving objects. As a result, the Dirac equation describes how particles such as electrons behave when traveling together at the speed of light.
